After graduating from Collegium Medicum at the Jagiellonian University has worked at the Clinical Department of Gynaecology and Oncology of the University Hospital in Kraków operating on malignant and non-malignant breast tumors and performing minimally invasive gynaecological surgery (hysteroscopies, laparoscopies).

Author of a doctoral dissertation – “Assessment of ovarian cancer treatment results at Clinical Department of Gynaecology and Oncology of the University Hospital in Kraków between 1998 and 2006” („Ocena wyników leczenia raka jajnika w Klinice Ginekologii i Onkologii CM UJ w Krakowie w latach 1998-2006”), author and co-author of scientific papers published both in Poland and abroad.
