About me

After graduating from Collegium Medicum at the Jagiellonian University has worked at the Clinical Department of Gynaecology and Oncology of the University Hospital in Kraków operating on malignant and non-malignant breast tumors and performing minimally invasive gynaecological surgery (hysteroscopies, laparoscopies).

Trained in Germany and Austria:
at Gynaecology and Obstetrics clinic in Munich – Klinik Und Poliklinik für Frauenheilkunde und Gebursthilfe, Ludwig Maximillian Universität München, and Brandenburg Center for Breast Cancer in Bad Saarow – Ost-Brandenburgisches Tumorzentrum Helios Klinikum Bad Saarow;
Breast Diagnostic Centre in Salzburg – Mammadiagnostik und Intervention, Nuklear Medizin, Roentgendiagnostisches Zentralinstitut Landeskliniken Salzburg.

Author of a doctoral dissertation – “Assessment of ovarian cancer treatment results at Clinical Department of Gynaecology and Oncology of the University Hospital in Kraków between 1998 and 2006” („Ocena wyników leczenia raka jajnika w Klinice Ginekologii i Onkologii CM UJ w Krakowie w latach 1998-2006”), author and co-author of scientific papers published both in Poland and abroad.
Marcin Mika, MD, PhD, participates in many conferences, courses and workshops on gynaecology and obstetrics.

Marcin Mika, MD, PhD offers:
breast disorder diagnostics (USG, biopsies) and treatment;
infertility diagnosis and treatment;
minimally invasive surgeries (cysts, myomas, polyps and other disorders of the reproductive organ);
complex gynaecological and obstetric care.

His particular interests include:
gynaecological surgery (hysteroscopy, laparoscopy) and minimally invasive breast surgery (mammotome biopsy – removal of breast tumors without scarring);
practical application of IVF;
pregnancy care;
